The City of Trotwood partnered with Bayer Becker to modernize critical sanitary infrastructure along Wolf Creek, improving system reliability and reducing environmental risk. The project involved the design of a new 1,600-foot, 18-inch sanitary trunk sewer on the south side of Wolf Creek, replacing aging infrastructure and eliminating two existing creek crossings.

Bayer Becker’s scope included evaluating existing sewer records, conducting field investigations and dye testing, identifying easements, and preparing design drawings, an engineer’s estimate, and the Ohio EPA Permit to Install (PTI). The design also incorporated a new creek crossing and redirected flow for parts of the basin south of Wolf Creek.

In addition to design services, our team provided construction administration, field observation, shop drawing and pay estimate reviews, and managed OPWC grant disbursement documentation—ensuring a smooth and successful project delivery.
