The City of Erlanger’s Eons Adventure Park is a transformative effort to create a 1,000-acre urban woodland adventure park that enhances quality of life while preserving one of the community’s most significant natural assets. Grounded in resident feedback and guided by a comprehensive master planning process, the project is designed to serve all generations through a diverse range of outdoor experiences. By prioritizing environmental stewardship, public health, and local tourism, the City is investing in a future-focused park system that reflects community values and establishes a lasting recreational destination.

The park integrates extensive recreational amenities with strategic infrastructure and environmental improvements. Planned features include more than 20 miles of mountain biking and hiking trails, multi-use paths, a dog park, playgrounds, picnic shelters, a future pump track, and a network of elevated canopy trails. Early implementation efforts include the development of the dog park and the conversion of Sycamore Tree Lane to a one-way road to reduce truck traffic and improve neighborhood safety. Additional elements such as a nature playground, hidden coffee shop, and woodland trail experiences are envisioned for future phases as funding becomes available. The design also emphasizes preservation of the existing urban forest, creating an immersive outdoor environment supported by thoughtful access, circulation, and community-driven amenities.
