Phase 1 of the Voice of America Park Multi-Use Trail project aims to enhance regional connectivity by linking the existing trail network at Voice of America MetroPark with the City of Mason’s trail system. This will be achieved through the construction of a new 0.79-mile paved trail segment, seamlessly integrating into the broader Miami Valley Trail Network.

This strategic extension is expected to generate approximately $13.4 million in annual economic activity, reinforcing the region’s outdoor recreation infrastructure and supporting long-term economic development. The project exemplifies a strong collaborative effort among local and regional stakeholders, underscoring a shared commitment to community engagement and sustainable trail development.

With an estimated construction cost exceeding $500,000, the project is funded through a grant from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, along with contributions from MetroParks of Butler County and West Chester Township. Bayer Becker provided comprehensive surveying, civil engineering, and transportation engineering services to support the successful delivery of this initiative.
