Bayer Becker’s ability to coordinate design for multiple out of town consultants proved invaluable for Tri Health’s new 60 bed rehabilitation facility in Norwood. The project consists of a several story facility for people with acute medical issues built above multiple levels of parking.

Since many of the consultants on the project were located throughout the country, in addition to design services, Bayer Becker provided project management services including coordination of the submittal, project exhibits, coordination with the city’s DOTE and permitting. Included in the permitting was filing an ODOT encroachment permit for the project, which eliminated the need to build retaining walls, saving the client money. Bayer Becker had previously provided design services on the adjacent site which sits above the rehabilitation facility. This proved critical because the two projects are connected by a pedestrian tunnel, therefore design on the new site had to align seamlessly with the existing building.
