As part of the SR 32 and Bells Lane corridor improvements, Bayer Becker conducted traffic signal warrant analyses at four key intersections: SR 32 at Mt. Carmel Tabasco Road/Bells Lane, SR 32 at Old SR 74, Mt. Carmel Tabasco Road at Old SR 74/Aicholtz Road, and Old SR 74 at Old Aicholtz Road/Summerside Road. Using traffic count data provided by ODOT, our team evaluated each location to determine the need for signalization based on state and federal guidelines.

Following the warrant analysis, Bayer Becker completed the design of four new traffic signals—two span wire and two mast arm installations. The design process included signal equipment layout, integration with existing infrastructure, structural calculations for poles and mast arms, and development of signal timing plans based on intersection capacity analysis. In addition, our team prepared detailed construction cost estimates for each signal installation, supporting project planning and budgeting efforts.
