Rivercrest

Nestled along the Little Miami River, Rivercrest presented a unique design opportunity due to its steep, wooded hillsides and environmentally sensitive areas. Bayer Becker’s multidisciplinary team delivered a thoughtful and sustainable site design that enhances the natural beauty of the landscape while meeting the needs of a growing residential community.

The entry experience was carefully crafted to serve as a welcoming gateway, featuring entry walls, a faux bridge with natural wood guardrails, and native landscaping. In collaboration with the client’s in-house architect, Bayer Becker also designed a custom gazebo to serve as a gathering space for residents.

Positioned atop a bluff near the entrance, the community center and pool were strategically sited to create a dramatic focal point. Our team also designed a series of detention and retention basins that not only manage stormwater effectively but also contribute to the community’s aesthetics. Key intersections throughout the development were enhanced with landscaping to reinforce the neighborhood’s cohesive and inviting character.

Rivercrest, a master-planned community, was proudly selected as the site of the 2017 HOMEARAMA. The development features a blend of custom and production homes by M/I Homes, offering a diverse and vibrant residential environment.
