Liberty Center

Spanning 64 acres and over 1.2 million square feet, Liberty Center is a dynamic mixed-use town center that combines retail, dining, entertainment, office, and residential spaces. Bayer Becker provided comprehensive, multi-discipline design services throughout the multi-year development, collaborating closely with architects, developers, and tenants to bring the project vision to life.

Early in the process, Bayer Becker supported site feasibility by assisting with stream evaluation and mitigation to expand usable land for Phase I. As construction progressed, our team adapted site designs to accommodate tenant-specific modifications and provided permitting support for site infrastructure, roadway lighting, and utility services.

Given the project’s density, space optimization was critical. Bayer Becker designed an innovative stormwater management system beneath the parking garages, capturing and reusing runoff to reduce the need for temporary pumping. Our team also designed grading and drainage systems for parks and open spaces to ensure year-round usability.

Beyond the site itself, Bayer Becker led off-site infrastructure improvements, including waterline and stormwater upgrades. Our transportation team enhanced access to the development with improvements to the I-75 and SR 129 interchanges, including new lanes, re-striping, and traffic control enhancements along Liberty Way.

Liberty Center serves as a regional destination, offering upscale amenities, vibrant public spaces, and a mix of custom storefronts, restaurants, and residences—positioning it as a catalyst for continued growth along the I-75 corridor.
