Lake Forest Drive
Bayer Becker provided comprehensive civil engineering services for the development of Lake Forest Drive, a new roadway in the City of Oxford. Our scope of work included field surveying, traffic analysis and calculations, roadway design, utility coordination, storm sewer design, hydraulic analysis, and culvert design.
The project also encompassed improvements to US 27 (Millville Oxford Road), specifically the addition of a dedicated left-turn lane at the intersection with Lake Forest Drive. This required extensive utility coordination and modifications to existing driveways to accommodate the roadway widening.
Key design elements included the horizontal and vertical alignment of the new roadway, the design of a conspan structure, and the completion of environmental and archaeological assessments. Geotechnical investigations, including drilling, were also conducted to support the structural design and ensure long-term roadway stability.
