The project involved extending Ivy Pointe Boulevard approximately 2,500 feet from a roundabout at Ferguson Drive to Aicholtz Road. The roadway extension consists of a three-lane section with landscaped medians or turn lanes where appropriate, curb and gutter, and storm sewer drainage. Bayer Becker prepared turn lane storage length calculations for the extension and designed the vertical and horizontal alignment of the roadway. The design also included a sanitary sewer, a water main, an irrigation system, street lighting and a combined utility trench that houses gas, electric, telephone and cable.

In addition to the extension, the project also included realignment of nearby Omni Drive and the design of a sanitary sewer extension along Aicholtz Road. The expansion of an existing regional retention basin helped alleviate current drainage issues as well as eliminate any issue because of future development in the area. Design for the project had to account for and maintain access to two existing billboards and a cell tower. Coordination of the project involved Clermont County, the township, adjacent property owners, and another consultant providing services on the adjacent Aicholtz Road connector project.
