Everest Rehabilitation Hospital
Everest Rehabilitation Hospital is a $23-million, 40,000-square-foot facility located on 5.09 acres in Liberty Township, Ohio. Designed to support comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care, the hospital features 36 private patient suites, therapy gyms, an outdoor mobility courtyard, HydroWorx aqua therapy, a training apartment with a full kitchen and bath, family gathering areas, an open dining hall, in-house dialysis, and an on-site pharmacy. Led by a team of physicians and rehabilitation specialists, the hospital is dedicated to improving patient strength, endurance, and overall quality of life.
While Everest hospitals follow a standardized layout across the country, Bayer Becker adapted the design to meet local site conditions, regulatory requirements, and construction practices. Our team provided value-engineering recommendations that resulted in cost savings compared to previous Everest projects.
Bayer Becker also conducted extensive due diligence, including zoning and comprehensive plan reviews, utility research, development fee estimates, and site analysis. The site, positioned between I-75 and the future Cox Road development corridor, required complex coordination with Butler County, Liberty Township, and ODOT. Our design included drainage permitting to the I-75 right-of-way and the extension of public utilities along the future Cox Road alignment. As the first development in this area, the hospital was designed with primary access from Bethany Road while maintaining flexibility for future infrastructure expansion.
