Elevation Apartment Homes

The appropriately named Elevation Apartment Homes is a $42 million market-rate apartment complex high in the rolling hills of Northern Kentucky. Located on a 65-acre site in Alexandria, the development featured 327 units spread across 17 buildings. The development’s amenities cater to modern living standards, including granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and luxury vinyl tile flooring. The community also boasts a variety of recreational facilities, including a fitness center, business center, pool, outdoor grilling area, fire pit, dog park, walking trails, and a clubhouse.

Situated at the top of a hilly terrain, two ridges were strategically connected, enhancing the buildable area. Addressing the topographical challenges, the team extended the sanitary sewer main and navigated ADA accessibility requirements. Transportation considerations identified the necessity for off-site improvements, particularly right turn lanes on US 27 and the adjacent intersection with East Alexandria Pike. Our team subsequently provided improvements for these critical intersections, ensuring safe and efficient traffic flow in and around the development. Despite the terrain difficulties, the site offered stunning views, enhancing the residential experience. Beyond infrastructure, comprehensive landscape architecture was integrated, encompassing planting plans for the clubhouse, amenity areas, and screening for vehicular zones. Future outlots were also planned to harmonize with the overall site design.
