To improve the safety, condition, and functionality of Darlas Drive, Bayer Becker worked with the City of Cold Spring to assess, design, and rehabilitate the street. Our team worked collaboratively with the City, residents, and utility owners to design the improvements. Improvements included full depth asphalt pavement repairs, mill, and overlay, the addition of concrete curb and gutter, and storm sewer to address drainage concerns. Bayer Becker also facilitated the preparation of construction specifications, bid documents, and construction administration. In addition to the roadway improvements, Bayer Becker worked with the Northern Kentucky Water District to design and facilitate the replacement of the existing water main with 1,800 linear feet of 8” ductile iron water main.
