Anthology

Introducing Anthology, an upscale age-in-place community that offers stunning views of Summit Park. The facility comprises 200 apartments that cater to seniors seeking independent living, assisted living, and memory care services. The property also features a plethora of amenities, including three courtyards, carports, a bocce ball court, a putting green, decorative fountains, numerous seating areas, and a community gathering patio with an outdoor kitchen. 

Bayer Becker provided local know-how to the out-of-town architect and developer. The team's expertise in the zoning process and relationships with the City of Blue Ash were essential to the project's success. Integrating the site within the larger Summit Park development, which was still under construction, required careful consideration. 

The design team prioritized the senior residents' experience and safety when designing Anthology. Proper grading of the site was necessary to ensure easy accessibility into and around the property. To prevent trips and falls, safety railings and non-reflective surfaces were incorporated into the courtyard designs. The memory care section of the community required even more attention to detail, with a focus on plant selection and security.
