Ben joined Bayer Becker in 2004 as a member of our Field Surveying team and currently works in our Mason, Ohio office where he fills a dual role as a Survey Crew Chief and CAD technician capable of providing field-to-finish survey products. In addition, Ben coordinates the field surveying schedules and prepares all the construction layout data for the Mason survey crews. Some of his other responsibilities include the preparation of ALTA surveys, horizontal road layout, right of way determination, easement documents, lot splits/combinations, topographic surveys, record plats, legal descriptions and subdivision layout. His work on these various projects, combined with his field experience, gives Ben valuable knowledge and insight into field and office uses of the survey data, which help him to provide a better project to our internal and external clients. When not working, Ben enjoys woodworking, fishing, hiking and camping.
