Bayer Becker and 3CDC is working on transforming the corner of 15th and Vine into an office and retail building. They are currently looking for one or two offices to occupy the space. Bayer Becker helped the neighborhood of Avondale finally get a grocery store. The neighborhood's last grocery store, Aldi, closed in 2008. Construction was scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2016. To read more about this new grocery store see the article below.
Two developing groups have been working on perserving four historic buildings and constructing a new mixed-use building. This project will cost approximately $25 million to develop and will be located on the northwest corner of Liberty and Elm streets. The groundbreaking for this project will begin in fall of 2016. Bayer Becker provided designs for the Austin Park Apartments in Miami Township. This new residential development will include 226 units and will be right across from the Austin Landing development.
