Bayer Becker helped work on The Gantry which is a $15 million mixed-use development which includes 131 apartments and 8,000 square feet of retail space. Liberty Center plans to develop a mixed-use project that would include luxury condos and a specialty grocery store. The goal of this resdiential housing is to allow people to live close to retailers but not within a town center environment. They would like to begin developing this project either in the summer or fall. Two developing groups have been working on perserving four historic buildings and constructing a new mixed-use building. This project will cost approximately $25 million to develop and will be located on the northwest corner of Liberty and Elm streets. The groundbreaking for this project will begin in fall of 2016.
